This will certainly prove beneficial to mobile units when detecting things like stolen vehicles, drivers with lapsed insurance, and failed emissions inspections. However, the lack of legislation delimiting how the information can be saved and use poses a significant threat to our constitutional concept of privacy.

I have total respect for this man's position and his decisions. War journalists are caught in two fronts at once, the obvious one with bullets and IEDs, and the less obvious one of pictures and blogs.

This is the burden of freedom. It's good to see that we still have a few with shoulders to carry it on.
